Know by Heart Game Review

“Know by heart …” is a game about accepting loss. The narrative, the music as well as the nimble gameplay and atmospheric mini-games work together to create the illusion that one is able to relive childhood and inevitably growing up with the sense of losing time.

The peaceful Russian village lifestyle will allow participants to fully immerse themselves into the past and culture this village.

Misha is the main protagonist. He’s trapped by a routine job that has no end. But, on a particular day, he’s shocked when the girl he adored at school returns to the town. The first time since his childhood Misha gets a chance to break free from the monotony of daily life. A brief but tumultuous incident in the life of the town is interspersed with the story of a gang of childhood buddies coming back together. They are forced to walk down the memories lanes to rekindle their friendship. But their past memories and the bonds that connect them become a threat.

A nostalgic project led by Ayrat Zakirov, who is the Chief Technology Officer from Ice-Pick Lodge. The events of the game be played out through the Russian province. The main character, Misha, is about to reunite with his childhood buddies after a lengthy period of time separated. The group will get together with former classmates, Misha to revisit old times and discover common ground. Unfortunately, their joyous reunion is likely to get snuffed out by circumstances that are outside of their ability to control.
